എലത്തൂര്‍: പിതാവിനൊപ്പം കാറില്‍ സഞ്ചരിച്ച സഹോദരങ്ങള്‍ക്കുനേരേ അക്രമം. എരഞ്ഞിക്കല്‍ കൃഷ്ണഹൗസില്‍ നിതിന്‍ എസ്. നായര്‍ (21), സഹോദരന്‍ നിശാന്ത് എസ്. നായര്‍ (25), പിതാവ് വി. സുനില്‍ (52) എന്നിവരെ പരിക്കുകളോടെ ബീച്ചാശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. നിതിന്‍ മുഖത്തും കഴുത്തിനും ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റിട്ടുണ്ട്.
കൊളത്തറ വൈഷ്ണവത്തില്‍ അരുണ്‍ കൃഷ്ണകുമാര്‍ (39) എന്നയാളെയാണ് എലത്തൂര്‍ പോലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തത്. വെങ്ങളം-രാമനാട്ടുകര ബൈപ്പാസിലെ മൊകവൂര്‍ സര്‍വീസ് റോഡില്‍ കാറുകള്‍ തമ്മില്‍ ഉരസിയതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് ഉണ്ടായ തര്‍ക്കം അക്രമത്തില്‍ കലാശിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. കാറിന്റെ കണ്ണാടിക്ക് കേടുപറ്റിയതിനെച്ചൊല്ലി ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തപ്പോള്‍ പ്രതി യുവാക്കളെ മര്‍ദിക്കുകയും നിലത്ത് തള്ളിയിട്ട് ചവിട്ടുകയും കല്ലുകൊണ്ട് മുഖത്ത് ആക്രമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തതായാണ് പരാതി. കാറിടിപ്പിച്ച് കൊല്ലാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചുവെന്നും പരാതിയില്‍ പറയുന്നു. അതേസമയം പ്രതിയുടെ പരാതിയില്‍ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ പേരിലും പോലീസ് കേസ് എടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.
